Strawberry Pickin'

It's strawberry season in Tennessee, so we set out to take advantage of all the berry goodness!
This little farm had chickens, goats, a donkey, a new puppy, and to top it off, a John Deere tractor. Cora was in love!!

A yellow and green tractor - the only kind worth pointing at

This video is for Grandpa. She is saying "John Deere tractor"

March Stuff

Story time at the library focuses on a new letter each week. This past week we practiced 'Q' at home too. Cora is so cute saying "ail!" for quail.

Tricks or Treats

This year's Halloween was the best! Perfect weather, crispy leaves, happy kids, and last but not least, the cutest and sweetest baby witch ever!! Cora was so happy all evening!

Off to Cora's first ever trick or treat stop

Ethan, the 7yr old across the street, is one of Cora's favorite people. He's a nice kid and always tries to make Cora smile. Here she is showing him her cat bag.

So cute and happy! She couldn't believe her luck in getting to stay outside all evening. As soon as she sat down she was searching for a finger to hold to go for another walk down the street. She just loved watching everything!

Halfway through the night Cora started taking candy from the handout bowl and hiding it in the bushes. I guess she was afraid she wouldn't have any leftovers. (Not that she gets to eat it anyway! :) )

Fun times

Cora is just a joy to be around. These last couple months have been fun with her learning new words and connecting the real world to books and play. Her little personality is developing right along. Josh would call it her "babytude". Now that the weather has cooled down (with hardly any rain), we are outside everyday. At home we walk to the library or to the park to swing and slide. At school she gets to roam the toddler playground and collect leaves. Here are some random pictures from September and October.
